We did it
The Culture Wall has just gone up in Derry~Londonderry in Northern Ireland. Created to allow everyone to celebrate UK City of Culture 2013 and mark a new chapter for the city as a cultural hub. This epic piece of wall art is made up of 27,000 Facebook profile pictures from friends around the world, and measures an impressive 18 metres long. Come and see it for yourself!

The Culture Wall is located in the heart of Derry~Londonderry's city centre. You can find it on the side of Primark, just up from the Millenium Forum and visible from the historic city walls. Come and visit the wall and find your face within the giant design.
Domnall Starkie is a successful local artist, whose background in graphic design and illustration lends his paintings a unique and powerful contemporary style. The piece he has created for The Culture Wall is celebratory and symbolic of Derry~Londonderry’s bright new future as a cultural hub.
